Free holiday events in North Florida

  • Nights of lights are going on now until Jan 26. See businesses along the waterfront lit up as well as trees and a Christmas tree in the courtyard.   • Vilano Beach holiday village is happening now through Dec 21. Every Saturday in December will feature a tree lighting, visits with Santa and Mrs Clause, live music, holiday movies, hot chocolate, coffee drinks and much more. 101 Vilano Road St Augustine, FL 32084

  • Deck the chairs is a holiday display featuring decorated lifeguard chairs. Now through Jan 1. 5-1am. 1st Ave North and, 75 1st St N, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250

  • Hometown holiday in the park a free event in Orange Park. It’s only Dec 6-7 from 5-9pm at Clarke House Park. There will be free hay rides and train rides, music, and a shopping village. You can get pictures with Santa for $20 and pony rides are $5. 1039 Kingsley Ave Orange Park, FL 32073

  • Moonlight movies The Grinch will be showing on Dec 6 from 6-8. There will be concessions available but you can bring snacks. Bring blankets or chairs because it’s in the grass with no seating. 11 1st Street N Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250.

  • One Church living nativity A living Nativity performance will repeat every 20 minutes 6:30-7:30pm on Dec 13&14. Watch from your car or get out and mingle. 324 5th St N, Jax Beach, FL 32250.

  • The Christmas Market The Clay County Fair Grounds will feature over 80 vendors, food trucks, and more. Free entry. Dec 14. 10-3pm. 2463 FL-16, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043

  • A very merry movie night will be held at Chet’s Creek Church 6625 Terry Rd Jax. They will be playing some Christmas classics along with free popcorn and hot chocolate. Free photos with Santa and the Grinch will also be available!
